Whitened Coyote Skull, Evansville Indiana area

How white can bones get?

In the image you will notice the three different looks to the skulls. The far left is the whitened coyote skull. The Whitetail Doe in the middle is a deadhead we found in the woods the same day. The Whitetail Buck skull on the right has been in degreasing for almost a week. This is a good photo to show our quality. Please take notice the folded over white paper towel. That is a good reference to how white we can get our specimens. We folded over the paper towel so the black background would not affect the whiteness of the paper towel.

Coyote Skull next to a doe dead head and a degreased whitetail buck. Now that's white!

Another Perspective

Deadhead: Into the beetles it goes!

Deadhead: The next morning the beetles almost have the head cleaned.

Deadhead: 2 days in the beetles and right into the degreasing tanks it goes.

Deadhead: Whitened as far as this one will let us go!

Coyote: Proud at how white another coyote skull turned out!

Expanding the shop for faster turn around times.

A lot more buckets means a lot more heads to finish in our average 30-35 day turn around time.

A lot more heads at at time equals faster turn around times!
